Hi All,

I thought I should put some background forward as I find myself using this site more and more and enjoy looking at peoples work and feedback - really creative!.

I have been painting solidly for 2 years now after finishing a career that had little to do with my creative urge to paint...which is now my passion.

I really enjoy the silkiness of oils immensely and I'm always amazed at the never ending effects that this medium can provide for, and sometimes surprise me with!.

One of the first things I did a couple of years ago was to purchase some of Richards workshops and I always seem to be drawn back to review them quite regularly. I Also paint at Katoomba and down the South Coast occasionally with fellow artists who constantly inspire and amaze me. I am also spending a day a week studying Oils at the ANU School of Art here in Canberra (Part Time) and with other self motivated groups from time to time.

I am really happy with my first Workshop entry of the Yellow Rose and look forward to participating in many more.
