Greetings from Nevada US

Hi everyone,

I am excited to join this site! The interactive nature of this art community appeals to me greatly, as I am looking for feedback and tips on how to improve my paintings. About 4 years ago, I discovered I loved to paint. I started off with acrylics, but find I enjoy oils immensely and now sometimes combine the two, doing the underpainting in acrylics, then layering the oils on top. I recently purchased one of Richard's workshops and completed a painting based on First Snow (which I have posted to my member site - feedback is welcome).

I take oil painting classes twice a week and find I absolutely love the creative process. I am planning to attend painting seminars, and also hope to join Richard's online workshops fairly regularly in the future. I look forward to being part of this global creative community of artists!
