I joined awhile ago but am just now getting around to trying out the workshops. I am a self-taught painter and have been putting some miles on the brush for about 13 years off and on. Watercolour was my first medium but am now enjoying learning more about oils. Recently, I have decided to paint more in an alla prima style and this is a huge departure from myprevious tighter, more layered approach. I hope to get some technical hints and inspiration from other artists!
