Hi guys, I've got the Prochade kit from ArtworkEssentials: http://www.artworkessentials.com/products/ProChade/ProChade.htm

Designed by Kevin Macpherson I had the pleasure of painting with last year in Queenstown NZ.

This is my traveling kit I use when I want light weight and usually 10x8" panels. For larger outdoor work I use a standard sketch box easel (Mabef M/22): http://www.mabef.it/english/prodotti/cassette.php

thanks Richard

keep the paintings coming, maybe one day i can paint half as well!!!  cheers, Myrna

Thanks so much for sharing!  I have a hard time lugging my large wooden one around.  This is very helpful and I plan to get one soon!

Richard -what brand of tripod do you use? I have a heavy Manfrotto, which is very stable, but heavy to lug around. I also have an aluminum tripod, but the head is wobbly. I need a sturdy yet lightweight one that won't cost me a fortune (like the graphite ones), but maybe I will just have to bite the bullet and invest in a graphite one...

I have a Fan Crev FT-6101A. Nothing really special, a bit heavy and I had to glue the wobbly head on tight.
