Plein Air Convention in Monterey/carpooling

Hello fellow artists!

Are any of you planning to attend the Plein Air Convention this year in Monterey?

I just learnt that they are not going to provide busses to painting sites this year... and I was not planning on renting a car... So, my question is: if any of you are going to attend and have a car or going to rent a car (I will certainly pay my share), will you be willing to carpool? So sorry for such a prosaic question! :-) Darya Vassina

Hi.  How was the convention?  Was that your first time attending?  Are you going in 2015?  Guess I am wondering if it is a good conference to attend?

Hi Darya....I'm planning to go but I will flying in from Bangkok, Thailand thru SFO International airport.  I asked the event organizers and the hotel for any shuttle service- to my disappointment. And now you are saying that they're not providing any (even at our own cost) to the painting sites?????! So from Portola Hotel, I assume there will be pretty sites to walkover to and paint? Have you been last year? Thanks.

Hi Girls, I live close to Monterey. I attended the convention a couple of years ago. I can sign up myself to go and can  take you around. When is the date for 2015?
