Work in progress. I was starting an abstract oil painting, but was not satisfied at all about how it was going, so I abandoned that idea, and decided to use the panel for a different project.

So here I am, with the half painting above the horizon line not that bad, but below the horizon line I am stuck, don't know what to do. Any idea?

An ocean or lake scene at sunset is always appealing.

I'm new to painting. Quite a novice since starting a few months ago. One of my earlier attempts was that of a flamenco dancer having seen them in Seville I have always been amazed by the passion of the dance.

It would be nice to see more paintings of Spain.
