A Pond Full of Water Lilies and YouTube Video

15 x 30" stretched canvas, oils, The video gives all the process of my thought pattern from the idea of this from a reference photo, through the composition, color scheme, and so much more. The entire motivation for this painting was to "lead the viewer's eye". I had a lot of fun and learned a lot that I hope I have explained in the video.

Roena, Great painting! What a lot of effort you have put into it with wonderful results. Loved all the info in your YouTube video as well. Just one thing, the plant is not a Waterlily but a Lotus. The dried seed heads are sometimes used in floral arrangements. I did a small Lotus painting some time ago but am not happy with it. After seeing yours I think I will have another attempt. Anita
