Oil on board, 30"x 24"
This painting started out as Edith Cavell (which can be found beneath the current image). The bottom portion is actually Tear Drop Lake. The Fiddle River is actually bluer.

This is wonderful, like the light on the mountain and the balance on it! I am not an expert in landscape but this one I liked a lot =)

I agree with Roena. They are all lovely paintings, but this is so soft - it's beautiful. I too, will be forwarding your website to my friend in PEI. Mayerthorpe & Edmonton were her home towns. It is so nice to see these areas portrayed - it gives me some insight to where she used to live.

Carol, these are just amazing. I would hate to really decide which is my favorite, but perhaps this one. As soon as I saw your paintings, even without opening them, I went to your page to see that you had a webpage.....I went there first! Beautiful - and I love the use of your colors. I will be watching your post. I have also sent your web address to a dear friend in NS, Canada. She will just flip out at your beautiful, colorful WC. BTW - Welcome to the site! Ro
