Thanks for your encouragement.  Re photo:  Yes, I have not figured out the formula for taking quality photo of paintings.  I otherwise take quality photos, have a good camera, use natural light, make sure all is level, use tripod, etc.  Tips I have read suggests I may need to invest be 2 lights.  Would like input if others have a suggestions.

Thanks Laura.  You and others are far better with flowers and foliage than I, which is one reason I took on this workshop.  After reviewing the photo and the painting more closely, I add value contrast to both.  I appreciate your comment.
