This painting was done a couple of years ago at the request of my wife as a gift to her home church, which celebrated its 100 anniversary around that time. The simple architecture is consistent with that of a lot of small churches built across the south during that era. The people were selected from reference photos dating from that era to modern times. The painting now resides in the church.
