Michael C. You keep appearing and then disappearing like a vapor in the morn...we miss you around here, my friend! Thank you for taking the time to check in, I know how super busy a man you are. Hope you find your way back to your brush and easel soon.!
Gosh, Jessica, just can't quite believe this, and it was the really weird one than captured a really great one from Richard. Thank you so much for your comments and friendship.
Fantastic, Carolyn! Well done! Things have certainly hotted up in my absence!
Congratulations on the critique & on winning Richard's workshop painting, Carolyn! You sure deserve it after all your hard work!
Thank you the really great critique, James. It is a bit "brooding". Interesting that it reminded you of Heathcliff's moor. Had to look it up to find what you were comparing it to! Appreciate the kind and encouraging comments.
I'm drawn to the intense energy you achieved in this one, Carolyn -- I can almost hear the booming of the surf. At the same time, with the help of that subdued sunset, you managed to create a brooding atmosphere reminiscent of Heathcliff's moor. Also, I like the way those pink clouds bounce off the greenish foreground and add a liveliness to your painting. Beautiful job!
