So appreciate the kudo's Xial Li! And the like!!
Beautiful painting Carolyn! Powerful waves.
hmmm, what little man?? I was referring to, well look again but at the right-upper section. You crack me up, little girl!
Whoa! My glasses are working
I knew it was a lighthouse the other day! But did not see the little man until I viewed full size! Thank you and smiles: ))
I do have a thing about the lady in a red dress as my "Waiting_1" shows, but she wouldn't even be a blip that far in the distance, I'm afraid. I have found it interesting that no one saw it as a lighthouse considering this an oceanscape and the dot on a far hill! Funny, we all create our own stories...and that is what art is about so thank you! On the two whites: Zinc is also a warmer white, and while the foam is showing more yellow than is true, it is warmer than Titanium would appear. (View in Full Size, and you might find another little surprise!)
Hey, this is great Carolyn. Yes, I too was drawn to the little orange, what my imagination thought was a figure. Maybe a lady in a red dress. Love your colours and composition. I was going to ask you why you used the two whites but read your answer at the bottom of the page.
Appreciate your comments, Julia and Jessica!
Beautifully done, Carolyn! All that movement in the water & the light sparkling on the waves is wonderful!
Thanks to you both for your comments and "liking" this. Laughing here, Laura...that is a teeny, tiny lighthouse!
