I just started blocking in with acrylic paint with the intention of finishing off in oils, however I just carried on as I started

Thank you Glenys, Aurelia, Fay, Candi and Mireille. Before I started putting in the figures I thought about just leaving them out but once I got into it things went pretty quickly until they become bigger however the scale and placement of the foreground figurers took a little longer. If I did it again I would try to make them a little more abstract I think

Amazing figure work Ian ! The restful area  where the water reflects on the beach provides a nice contrast to the detailed figures.
