Hi Richard, I don't know Sorolla's work at all.  It's a beautiful painting, I love how he's worked the sheep they are only just there in the dappled shade. A very inspiring piece indeed.  By the way, i can definately see how it could be mistaken for one of yours!! Off to look him up now!

Yeah I wish! Joaquin Sorolla painted this one.
