Laughing here, Louis. I like that remedy whether acrylic or oils. Thank you for taking a look. The colors are far more garish than in the original, though still vivid. Finally figured out how to deal with my new camera and the saturation in Photoshop. Again, thanks.

Love this one Caroline. Loose brushwork, but still looks believable.... my kind of painting! Thanks so much for your kind comments. The advantage of acrylic paint is if it gets to the Muddy-Hairy stage, i just take a glass of wine and let it dry (the paint, not the wine).

Well there is a north wind blowing, but only raining so far{:o.  Busy drawing on my wacom tablet at the moment, trying to work out the composition for a new painting.  If you are doing the latest workshop, good luck and enjoy.

Thank you for stopping by, Jan. as I mentioned to Dor, the color is a bit/lot wilder than the original. Appreciate the good comments. Hope you are staying warm and painting lots!

Thanks for the view and the smiles, Dor. Gee, been a long time since we've said hi. So an extra warm hello to you! (as for the painting, sitting here looking at the original, it is way more subtle in vibrancy, though all the colors are there. Going to have to fool around in Photoshop and try to work with the chroma and darkness adjustments.)

Carolyn, I enjoy your colours and bold brushstrokes.Very impressive. I like the texture of the foreground, I imagine they are rocks, very nice.
