I think with your whites, they are thinned out a bit too much with oil.  Maybe you should do the highlights straight from the tube.  Remember...paint dark thins and lights thicker (unless the light is a background base color)  But highlight edges show up better thicker with a touch of yellow mixed in.

This is very pretty Casey.  I have 3 done and am going to work on the 4th one soon.  Maybe next week.  Then I will post all 4 studies like you did.  I wonder if Richard will have us do one larger one on clouds next month with landscape included.
