Thanks so much for all of the amazing comments.  Makes me wonder if I should use knives more often ;-) I believe that this type of scene lends itself more to painting knives.  Silvana, I have a tendency to paint with one brush for a long time, making it do what I want such as a flat.  Looks like I do the same with a painting knife since I used the same one most of the time I was painting.

Wow! Loved your knife work!!! It's a great painting! Question, do you use the same knife for all the painting? Or a lot of different types of them?

Using painting knife is a good and useful exercises.You've done a very good job!
