Hi Michael.  Thank you so much for the critique.  I very much appreciate it as I really love your art.  It's funny as I had taken this piece to my weekly art class to be critiqued and no one picked up on that.  I will give it a try and thanks again.  Merry Christmas!

Hi Susan .. I know this is unsolicited, but it is kind of bugging me.  The transition from the sunlit tram and the dark tunnel is to abrupt .. it makes the tram look like it was cut in half ..  we do not feel the sense of depth or space.  I really do not think the large mass of your tunnel should be the darkest dark in your painting ..  I think if you slightly gradate the tunnel to a lighter value as it nears the edge of the tram and then paint a transition color/value between the tram and the shadow, you will get a better feel of it entering the tunnel.  I think your darkest darks would be .. under the tram .. all of the other values of darks would be judged against that.
