"Day at the Fair" by Sharon Repple 11 x 14
I decided to try using the lessons learned in Workshop39 on this scene. I tried to capture the glowing light on the stuffed animals, reflected light in the areas of shadow under the awnings and inside the booth, perspective drawing and figure painting as demonstrated in the video. I moved one of the figures on the left into the light as suggested in the video. Not my usual painting but I had a great time applying lessons learned. Thanks Richard

Thanks Ningning. Richard, thanks for the comment and for a great video. You challenged me to paint light in the shadows and figures in and out of light. Yes, I have lots of bananas!!!
:-) Nice one Sharon. Fruit salad for the eyes.
Wow, this is exciting,Wonderful!! I love it!!!
Thanks Colleen and Nancy
Ann, I think she would rather be shooting. Thanks Ann, Lori, Dan and Pauline for your special comments. Pauline it was hard to decide where to start but of course I followed Richard's instructions and put in the darks first. I used the grid method to do the drawing.
This is a feast Sharon, amazing content, I wouldn't know where to start painting first, it's great!
Such vibrant colour! Looks like a warm day. Very nice :)
