Guess I was just lucky at the end that i had some clean white left on my palette ;-)
I love the Japanese art about blossoms - great compliment thanks!
I think what also should be mentioned is a composition problem... The two blossoms on the top half are too similar... a bit like copy and paste...

P.S. I just saw that Candi also mentioned an oriental feeling on the other painting - they remind me of Japanese fabrics; both the subject & the beautiful colour palette.
