Lori just sent this to me RR.  It has a sugar bowl similar to a still life setup I arranged.  You sure can produce a varied range of art.  Impressed with your perfect apple, orange and dish.  Another of my fav of yours is your daughter swinging on a single rope swing, and the woman standing in front of a mirror.  You just never cease to amaze me with your fine paintings.  Love them all.  (BTW there is not enough room here for me to make a list of all the ones that I am truly impressed over.....and the list just goes on and on.  smile)  Roena

Oh my word.............How breathtakingly beautiful Richard.  I have been painting all day and mine is going in the trash...........  Richard this is so lovely.  I know you have worked very hard, but the Good Lord has blessed you with a gift.  You are a natural born artist............dor:))

Love the way you have moved the mauve colour around the painting relevant to the values of the area painted darker in some areas and lighter in others.  The apple is beautiful and so is its reflected light dancing on the vessel. Your greens are a lot lighter this time which looks good.  I wasn't sure in my original if I should down play them or keep them structured. I think you hit on a great mix. Thanks for all your efforts on this site I am learning so much.

No wonder you are happy with this one. I love how filled with light it is. Those glowing colors around the fruit really do give the painting a happy jewel-like effect. All your lovely paintings glow with light. You always make your painting process look so effortless. I am glad I am on this journey. Hopefully, somehow I will absorb something of that in my paintings.
