Very interesting painting. I enjoy the overall colour harmony as you alwasy do very well. I also love the texture you created on the rocks and twiggs and trunks of the bushes. The movement of the water was nicely done. I can feel the blowing wind. Great job, Jim!!!

Yeh like the movement, looks very wind swept, not sure about the distant hills but seems to blend in good

Thanks to all for your comments. I kind of took a chance on this painting and it came out ok.  Your comments are very encouraging.

Enjoying the power from both the wind and sea!

Really like this Jim. There's so much energy in the foreground trees. It's as if they've been infected with the kinetic energy of the ocean. And the background cliffs are on fire. Cool.

Nice one, Jim  Your brushwork makes the place bursting with energy. This is an ACTIVE (vs. restful) place. Everything expresses movement--trees leaves in one direction, their sinuous trunks in another, water in another, rock faces in yet another.  I really like it.

Hi Jim, I do like your painting, Not an easy picture but you have done a lovely job of it. The colours have harmony with each other. It is a lovely soft flowing painting.

Jim, I love the way you captured the light on background rocks
