Laura, I used acrylics, but I think it would have been better to use oils... As after colour glazing it can sit down for a while... I think I will do that in my next one. Acrylic and then oil colour glazing.

Jessica thanks, and  I certainly did! Interesting how the colours kept on changing! And the amount of glaze I had to add forthem not to dry... And when they did, it was like starting again... more colour and glazing and water... lots to learn!

Silvana, It is a nice painting. Did you use oil on the top of Acrylic when you glazed it? I tried one value study with Acrylic yesterday, having not decided how to glaze it by using oil or acrylic.

Thanks Linda and yes, but it isn't oils. I have glazed more than once though... It's still not exactly as I wuld have liked it to be... but I will try with a new one and not work on this one anymore.

Very nice Silvana.  Was your painting perfectly dry when you glazed it?
