Good work.  You didn't copy Richard's painting, but designed your own view.  I find it hard not to copy his work.  Those of us who have been with Richard more that 2 months were given access to all 11 previous workshops (how time flies).  I don't know if he will do this in the future, but it is very useful to go back over his instructions, critiques, and members comments.  It's like a year in art school.

Hi Stephen ! Thank you for your kind comment. Well, about oils and acrylics, I must say that You must try oils! when i painted in acrylics something always disturbed me. I didn't know at the beginning what it was, but something was not what I expected. I will try to explain. When I painted in Acrylics people always told me that I paint in "oil technics" rather then acrylics, which meant I am working from lean to fat, from dark to light. I think that what is good in acrylics is that you can travel in both worlds - the oil world and the water colors world. It seems at first as an advantage but in time you realize that the result is somewhere in between and I didn't like that. I didn't like that because the highlights weren't strong enough, the darks weren't dark enough. Another big disappointment of acrylics was the huge difference in color between the time you paint and few hours later. It always seemed to me, no matter what medium I used, that the color is becoming "brighter" or less saturated few hours later, and I think it is mainly because that water that evaporates leaves the color with less intensity. And that fact was very disappointing because I painted something, thought it came out great and few hours later I come back and the painting looks very dull.... That cannot happen with oils - what you painted is what will be on the canvas even after a week ! and that's, for me, actually was shocking, after my first oil. I decided that if I will want a water colors effect - then I will paint in water colors, but not acrylics.
Your paintings are great ! I think that if you will try oils your works will leave much more impact and you will never go back to acrylics. I think that acrylics are great with airbrush, since they are transparent or semi transparent and when using airbrush you want a liquid that flows but not too much and acrylics are great for this purpose.

By the way - I like very much your compositions. I think there is a lot I can learn fromyour work.
