Richard, I'm so grateful for your critique.  I've now made the few changes you suggested - putting more warmth into the large rocks beside the path and fixing the hard line at the top of the closest mountain where it meets the sky - plus I darkened the distant foreground tree a little because it had almost disappeared in my original painting.  I'll post a photo of my painting since making the changes.  Thank you so much for your suggestions!
