I add a bit of a bigger sky, because I have a box canvas laying around forever in almost, but not yet, same ratio.
It was nice to learn how to paint grasses as I always used a small brush as well as my rigger brush and it always looks so amateurish!

Beautiful work Aurelia! Large blue shadow areas in the sand dunes could be a little darker. Squinting helps with this.

Concentrating the hues other than blue helped to make the painting about the grasses. I really like the shadows in the grasses.

Thank you for you comments Silvana and Lori.  I also live near the sea and thought it would be nice to learn so that I can paint our own beach, but it is mostly covered in mist these days and therefor I cannot see any distant land.  So this painting have to do for now till we have better weather.  Winter is coming....
