Hi Phyllis Johnson. I have to admmit you are in part right and in this case my best choice would be to paint a copy so I could have two horses. I really enjoy the result of this stage but the challenge to have a realistic portrait identical to the original photo impulses me to go on.

Beautiful! Hard to image the color layer being an improvement, but It will be even more stunning I am sure!

Thank you Robert. I'm always in doubt at this phase. I like this b&w effect
(Bronzed) as much as you and sometimes I think to stop here. To complete the work I still have
the color layers, the fur the whiskers and all the fine details. Appreciate your comment.
