I made some adjustments to the greens and added some interest in the background..these greens are quite a challenge!

This looks great, Lori - I really like the background you've added too.  Green is such a tricky colour & it's hard to get it right, but I think you've done an excellent job!

Great Lori!  I would still add some more shadow under the figure though, and pehaps make some taller grasses at the front. The depth is really better and the figure is excellent!! What a challenge you've got into Lori...!!!!

Don't we all.  I have been studying Joaquin Sorolla's paintings for that same reason.  His ability to create light with his use of light against dark values and cools against warm colors is remarkable.
