For June challenge, I choose to make as many paint as possible starting in the dog category. I started with Jaz the miniature Schnauzer that belong to a friend and to make her a gift of the 2 Schnauzer paintings.

So expressive!
Thanks so much Olivia for your kind comment and you also have beautiful paintings and I like a lot the colors you used and your personnal brush stroke style is so fluid and talking by itself
I love his expression. You have captured it so well
JUst realized that it is moved... Let's see if it can be improved....
Nice to see your comment Wanda. They are drying and Jaz have this ready expression meaning "Hurry up, dry, faster, I am waiting........"
Nice to hear that you have the couple. I had one miniature Schnauzer and a Giant one and what a wonderful dog it is. Always ready to go and in love with their masters. If you have picture of them I would like to see them.My friend is painting in acrylic and she started only last year and thought that she was unable to paint a black dog so with Jaz in her hypnotic pose I decided to give it a try and voilà it's done. Jaz is more on the black side than grey and I enjoyed a lot painting the eyes. This painting size is 12 x 14 in oil
