Thank you for your encouraging comment Ningning, its nice to have you back on the site and your humor mad me smile ! Your paintings always have such nice clean primary colors. I know your style when I see a painting, beautiful.
This is a beautiful and peaceful late afternoon with the last beam of setting sun on some of the grasses. I like your composition and colour design very much. those detail touch brushstrokes give more life to the scene. I almost finished this workshop painting but my friend said that the shape of the grasses looks like a crocodile. Ha,ha,ha, I stop paint it. Anyway, I will do it again. After I finish it I will uploard here. Hope that it will not look like a crocodile lying there. Hugs...
Thanks for your comments Richard, you're correct on both points. My camera just loves to intensify the blues and purples. I do think I'll calm them down also and crookify the path. Happy painting
Loverly! I love your brushwork! I know you had fun painting this! Smiles headed your way :-)
Wow pretty intense in those blues! Kind of fighting with the warms. Would suggest you gray the blues down so there's not such a battle. Perhaps its the photograph though - when taken in low light cameras tend to overcompensate and make the colours too vibrant. Exciting brushwork. Good shapes, if a little symmetrical like a pyramid - beware making straight paths.
Thank you George, Cristina, and Aurelia for your positive comments. Your encouragment means alot to me
Great job, Anne!
