Nice painting, Lori.  You put some question marks by your style, so I will tell you that you are a representational painter and your background and brush work here suggests you are an impressionist and more of a tonalist than colorist.  This is just a terrific potrait.  Please post some more of your work.   Also 2 tips: #1. Ask for any help you need in the workshops or on any other painting; just post the work and indicate you need some help.  #2.  Explore others work and make any comments you like on their work.  People on this site are very friendly and very helpful.   Welcome.   Stu
