Thank a lot Michael for this hint and yes I used a brigtht yellow with white for the sun and it's area. I never used glazing before so I will make my test before using it anyhow.

Hi Jocelyn.  Glazing will not make your sun shine more ..it will dull it.   What gives it the glow or shine, is contrast ..use opaque paint for your sun .....it actually looks pretty bright now.

Thanks Michael for this encouraging comment. I thought that I would be able to make it shine a little more in the sun area but after reading what you wrote, I will follow your advice. I was afraid to have muddy color or green appearing. I enjoyed the exercise a lot and will continue my work on the subject.

Very good Jocelyn ....really do not think you need to glaze? ..it looks pretty good now.  No matter what color you use  to glaze, it will darken and dull the under color.....just a warning.
