Yes Ann, I think you are right. I should've had a more accurate proportion... Not an excuse, but those are the first figures I ever painted. I suppose with time and practice I'll nail it sometime. I'm still trying to Learn, and taking lessons everywhere I can. But this is my husband's favorite painting as well. Thank you so much for your input!

Nice ocean painting Lisa ! This is my favorite of your paintings. The light on the dark rolling in waves is very good. Your figures are believable but they might be better if they didn't have such long legs. Think about it
