Yes, working the grass in the foreground only.  But it really is good.  I like my rooster, but he is toooo big.  I am going to re-work it now, I got some great pointers from someone.

Yes, you are absolutely right. They are kind of floating in there. Also it would not hurt working the grass a little more.

Looks great to me, I like how the brown chickens head is kinda angled slightly toward the white chicken. I notice it, don't know if anyone else does.  Seems to be a little movement there!  If you wanted to play with it more, maybe darkening around them a little more in spots to set them in.  Like the back/neck/butt area.  Just wondering.
