Thanks, Robin! I know you meant that "versatile" as a compliment, but I'm still trying to pin down my "style". I don't think I'll ever stick to a certain genre of subjects, though. I keep my FB page more up-to-date than my website. BTW, the parts of this painting I like most--the sunlight on the paddler's back and where the right side hill meets the blue distant mountains. There is a peaceful, tranquil feeling in this work!

This looks great Robin. I think the right hand cliff and its reflections looks fine but I know how you feel - the more you work on a painting the harder it is to figure out where to stop. I've spoilt a couple of my paintings by deciding to change them when I should have just left them alone. The centre of interest - the river boats and the ripples on the water - are wonderful. Also the far cliff looks really good now.
