Oops Thank you Thomas well spotted.

I left out a tree in the center for the sake of my composition but still painted in its reflection!!

You are right Silvana it is still very cold here although it was very pleasant last week in the Black valley.

The tree I omitted had been partially uprooted in a recent storm and parts of the National park are still closed while fallen trees are being removed.

What a wonderful painting. I imagine myself over there enjoying it! It seems as spring is sprouting,but winter hasn't really left...

Beautiful, in particular the water and rocks. Brilliant! What disturbs the feeling of realism a bit is that the lights and darks in the water do not seem to correspond to the objects in the background being reflected.
