I like everything about this painting; looseness of background & colors of the boat; however the two lines draw my eye away & make me feel like the boat is tipping. If they were eliminated, what would it look like?

This one was at Hawks Nest (Mid North Coast Australia) - slowly rotted away over years. Is gone now. I've been meaning to paint it for years!
