Oils 30x40 cm. My second attempt for WS 39. Tried to put into practice things learnt in the previous painting! This is a small and very touristic town because of the 'Cerro de los 7 Colores' (Hill of 7 colours).

Fay, Cristina, Nancy, Thank you SO much!!!! I'm still looking at it and evaluating if I should apply some yellow glaze onit in the sunny parts, and why not Fay, bluish at the back... I think that when I get tired of it, I'll take that step, as it will not bother me if it gets ruined!!!!:) !!!
Unique! Beautifully done Silvana!!Love the colors and textures!!
Silvana I love your street! You've done an amazing painting. I hesitate to give you any advice. However if the hills were glazed over with blue they would recede into the background a little while still retaining their distinctive character of the hill of 7 colours.
Thanks Ningning!!! :)
Beautiful painting, Silvana, With Michael and other friends' help , I am sure, it will be more beautiful, wait to see your retouched version.
Yes Lori! I thought about it! I think I'l have to paint the scene again... I ruin everything so easily thatthe decision tochange whatevertakesquie a long time!!!! Anyway, I always back up the info and try to apply it to future paintings!!! I put a sign on my white of 'try not to use' on it so I remember!!!! :) !!!
Sarah, Olivia, Thanks!
Michael, Ithink I'll have to read more about painting and focal points... My quesion is ... I was thinking to do what we have learnt in one of the Mastering Sunsets videos, which is to glaze... If I apply a yellow light glazing on the sunlit parts and mountains at the back...will it become warmer? I remember somebody, I think it was Ann, mentioning Indian yellow for doing so, but I can't get it around here, so perhaps yellow light will have to do.. anyway,I should wait for it to dry up a bit... I tend to forget white is cool... so much to learn!!! I will go to do some changes now... specially the poles' shadows!
