Hi Britt, I find this quite riveting. Excellent surface textures - the beak, the skin around the eye - very, very good.

Only two minor suggestions, if you don't mind: the comb would benefit from the same degree of surface detail as the skin around the eye and the wattle, and the edge along the back of the neck could be softened. This would then be a painting that I would find just about impossible to stop looking at.

I really like it.
