RUMRUNNER.
I have been reading a lot of the history of the prohibition during the 20's in Canada, but in newfoundland in particular , and the ingenuity that was used to fool the law. one particular method I thought was interesting was to weigh the Crates of booze that was smuggled in from st pierre et Miquelon with salt and if approached by the law it was thrown overboard and later retrieved as the salt dissolved and the booze would float to the surface to be picked up without any worries., that was my inspiration for this piece so called RUMRUNNER. It was done in oils on a 24x30 canvas.

Your paintings are full of mist and emotion. They appear to come from both your childhood and maturity dreams. Composition of the paintings is much influenced by these dreams and they express the power of music and poetry of your soul. My favorite is The Spanish Main. Congratulations!
