Thanks, Aurelia -yeah, I'm sort of getting into suggesting the forms by laying down a series of deliberate one touch 'construction' strokes and by trying not to paint flat blocks with no broken color... ...but still realism is a siren call, need to get even much looser!

Lovely scene Jon.  I have notice you start to paint much looser.  Well done.  I am still struggling with that.  I tried to paint with bigger brushes and time myself to paint fast.  Hopefully I get there.
