Jeri looks sooo good now! The diners, umbrlla, and spaces between pillars look perfect now! Woo Hoo, great painting!
I am happy your painting was successful!! .. keep in mind Jeri, (and everyone else), all the things I discuss are ... not .... written in stone. .. everything is about relationships. BTW, there is one thing I noticed that you .. Might ... want to take care of. The top plane of the little wall cannot be dark .. it is in sunlight. Therefore, it needs to be in your sunlight values. Make it the same value and color as the lighter patches on your walkway .. I am assuming the wall is made of the same material?
Thanks again Michael for the input. It made all the difference. I just couldn't see it and now it makes much more sense.
Nice, Jeri - well done!
You nailed it Jeri! Nice work. Now I get a sense of sunlight as values and color temperatures are better related.
looks great! you have made it more richly colored than previous, those small changes made a big difference. the shadowing in the foreground and under the umbrellas looks great.
Hey Ann! Thank you! I think it is much better!
WOW ! The small changes tie it all together. Congratulations
