I paused the trailer and took photos then mixed and matched until I was happy with the design. Lots of difficulty getting a good quality photo. The color is never exactly how I want it

Strong brushwork!  Impressive.

I think yours is very good , I like how your brushwork looks as though it was applied with confidence and the way you've put the sun in the picture is lovely, the back does need to pushed back though, richard is right of course.

Elfrida, you did wonderful job. It is so pleasent and creative. I like your light .  I spent a lot of time to photo thoses chickens too. As you said it was difficult as they were in shadow and we put them under the sun. We have to change their color and light. This is a big project and a lot of thinking. Finally, I followed the way  of our teacher Richard.

A great thank you to all of you who are giving me positive comments. Sometimes when I am working in my studio, I lose the feeling of freshness that i like so much when doing plein air, I end up feeling that it is overworked, but i need to get over that. Somethings look better when they are really worked on. Thanks

Beautiful painting Elfrida.  I was thinking to do from this angle too, but I wasn't sure how to put the chichens.  It seems lost the perspective a little.  What do you think?
