30x40cm oil on canvas, seagull on our river Elbe. To deal with the current seagulls either paddle or take short flights upstream. Here one lands and provokes the colleague to start and go further - relay race I call it.

I love everything about your painting; the composition is great and again there is so much movement captured with the Gulls flight, the waves and the water's surface where the right gull is taking off. The light and shade on the bird's bodies looks really effective as well.
