Thanks, Michael for your comment. I was so fixated on the rocks that the water was neglected. I will work on that transition. I appreciate your time and willingness to critique. We never really can see our paintings objectively.

Very nice Chris.  Good job on the warm and cool greys.  Nice clean color .. no mud!  .... Maybe think about not having so much an abrupt value and temperature change between the dark blue water and the lighter, greener water .. mix a transition value and color there between them or just blend those two together.  What happens when you don't transition those two extreme values is the background dark blue water sits up like a wall ... the whole sea must be gradated to lay flat.
