This was a challenging piece because of the variety of textures -- flowers, cloth, pebbles, stone containers and the transparent glass bowl. One criticism is the center bowl floats between the objectives on each side. I should have connected the three pieces on the right and let the vase with the flowers float. I also struggled with the background. It when through several iterations before I settled on what you see. Still not satisfied but...

Maybe Charles? ....but I kind of like the composition as is.  I like the way the cast shadow of the flower vase curves you around to the composition and across.   Maybe introducing a vertical on the right ...a window pane perhaps? Anyway, I like the painting! :))
