A very sunny approach, and yes Dor is right you have to darken the foreground, it will improve dramatically your painting.

Thanks Dorian....not too late to darken. I'll definitely take that suggestion into consideration. This is where I ended up by the deadline, my first online workshop and posting.

I like your boats! I would like your painting  better if the foreground were darker. Happy Painting and  Smiles :)
