Dorian I think maybe because the red rose battling for attention, maybe the edges need to be softened and the value slightly lighter. As the pink rose is supposed to be the focus point. I think it's a wonderful painting , I just could not do this one ,5 attempts ended up in the bin! Well done

I like it, but think I would like it better if the white rose were not quite so white? (but then, I always seem to go for the muted palette).  Michael?

Your pink rose is very beautiful Jess and so is the white. I have no idea why I do not like the color of the red one. I want someone to explain that to me please. Smiles to you :)
