Superb! Cheers
Thank you Eibhlin, for your constructive comment. You are right, the shadow value close to the vase is as strong as the leaves or the red rose, it should be toned down. Good observation, thank you!
Thank you Walda, I was thinking that blue shade will keep the flowers and vase down since I did not establish the perimeters of the surface the vase was sitting on and will make a balance with the red rose and the lives from the felt side ( another trio).
Thank you Gina! Yes indeed, the superstar is not dressed up to the show. It seems the pink one is not quiet finished or rather overworked. I had to imbed in my mind that less is more. Thank you again, your observation is much appreciated.
I'm attracted to the blue!
Hi Ana, This is a very lovely painting of roses. I like the controlled manner in which you've expressed the loose nature of the petals. Also love your handling of the red rose and the white rose. This is like a jazz trio. The Pink is the superstar .But it needs the back up to really sing!.
Thank you Dor, have a great time!
Marcia, the reason I've done this little piece is your beautiful sweet fragrant pink rose. I was impressed by your painting and I tried to see how I can represent it. There fore I have to thank you for that and for very generous comments. :)
Jessica, I thank you for your encouragement.
