I think it is a very good idea to paint another one. I agree wiith you that I achieved fresh colour and bold brushstrokes as Richard hope us to do. But there are some mistakes for other things as usual. We have to find time to paint more to be better. Good luck for your secound try. Smiles(Dorian did it all the time)

Thanks for your comment, Ningning - I didn't change this painting but I have painted the whole scene again a few times & posted another one.  But I still need to work on it - it's hard to paint loose strokes beautifully & achieve gorgeous results like Richard does! I think you achieved that in your painting!

i agree, very nice colour, the curve at the side of the water is leading the viewer in so nicely.

Thank you Casey!  I was keeping in mind the phrase "beautiful paint" from the video!  But I've got a long way to go here!
